What You Will Do In Your Role

• Establish, review and improve the QA system for sub-contractors.
• Ensure compliance to incoming inspection plan for subcontractor.
• For quality issues, raise RN to sub-contractor and drive for quick corrective actions to prevent line down.
• Drive sub-contractor for continuous improvement plan.
• Monitor and ensure timely closure and effectiveness of sub-contractor's corrective actions.
• Audit sub-contractors' process, including subcontractor committed corrective action and track its effectiveness.
• Provide supplier performance data to Purchasing on a timely manner.
• Review FAI reports, 8-D reports, C of C from sub-contractors for compliance and effectiveness.
• Prepare Quality documentation related to material inspection and measurement.
• Educate and train sorter, manual assembly operator and QC inspectors.
• Liase with customer on customer complaints, writing 8-D reports or analysis reports and closing of complaints, including recall, if required.
• Ensure D3C, D5C and D8 closure within timeline
• Follow up with MXL management team and MPD on the charging and sorting cost when request by entity/customer
• Escalate the need to stop shipment/stop production to QA Manager when suspect of bad quality
• Promote and enforce the Quality consciousness among QC personnel and manufacturing personnel
• Be a Green Belt in a 6-sigma project identified by management and work closely with the Black Belt.
• Responsible for vendor control, internal subcon sorting and manual subcon quality.
• Conduct meeting on hold parts on time and work with engineering to resolve the issue
• Ensure RGA and block stock clearance within target set.
• Drive AA engineering on actions and conduct verification on committed actions
• Performs other related duties as assigned by management.

The Experience You Will Bring

Requirements:

• Degree in Engineering fields
• Min 5 years working experiences in QA
