Koch Industries, Inc. is seeking a Supplier Strategist at our headquarters in Wichita, KS. 

In this fast-paced market of digital transformation experience a role that puts you in the driver’s seat for strategizing, negotiating and optimizing IT supplier performance relationships at Koch Industries Inc. Spanning innovation start-ups to enterprise providers, work directly with senior and operational leadership to understand the global business needs of Koch companies to provide profitable solutions that influence purchase decisions with providers of IT services. This is an exciting opportunity to join a growing team. 

Take ownership in negotiation strategies and leverage your business savvy to deliver profitable results. You will own key supplier relationships for the enterprise to meet our company’s transforming business demands in an exciting innovative environment.

What You Will Do In Your Role

  • Develop trusted supplier and client relationships, bringing a focused discipline based on sound economic thinking to the achievement of goals and objectives 
  • Lead negotiation strategies from start to finish 
  • Ensure application of process for measuring supplier performance and improvement 
  • Ensure best practices to contracting and sourcing events are applied 
  • Orchestrate subject-matter experts input to complete commercial deals 
  • Regularly assess market conditions and industry trends relative to our key supplier base 
  • A successful candidate will possess the following characteristics:

The Experience You Will Bring

Requirements:

  • 3 + years of professional experience 
  • 1+ years' experience in negotiations 
  • Experience in guiding decisions and gaining alignment among decision makers 
  • Ability to travel up to 10% 


What Will Put You Ahead

  • 5 or more years' experience in corporate strategic sourcing or commercial experience 
  • Enterprise sales experience
  • Data analysis experience
  • Basic project management skills 
  • Contract law knowledge
