Napkin Reliability Technician
We are currently recruiting for Reliability Technicians in Napkin. In this role, they will be part of the continued operation and reliability improvements of production lines. They work closely with Manufacturing Engineers, Advanced Technicians, other Reliability Technicians, Technicians, and various members of the product system team. This Reliability Technician will work in a high energy, dynamic organization established on the principles of an adaptive work system focused on the execution of reliability strategies. The Reliability Technician will learn, apply and teach the equipment theory of operation and the operational processes. This position will work a rotating shift schedule but will include working some day shift due to start up.
What You Will Do In Your Role
- Proactively identify hazards and mitigate risk

- Operate, maintain and repair equipment to the desired competitive state
- Develop and apply personal knowledge to the level of a subject matter expert relative to:
- Flow to the highest value work
- Effectively communicate valuable information to the team using a variety of tools (verbal, written, electronic, etc.)
- Apply knowledge and expertise while building and improving asset strategies:
- Continuously build Technician’s and other Reliability Technician’s capabilities
- Actively engage in the development and execution of Primary Person Responsibilities (PPR’s)
- Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair systems, equipment, components and processes
- Execute shutdown work
oRisk assessments (HIRA)
oQuality standards and expectations
oProduct safety
oEquipment functions
oTheory of operation
oOperate equipment within operations targets and limits along with providing feedback on improvements
oEvaluate and execute operator basic care (OBC) and lube routes
oEvaluate and develop planned work
oEvaluate and develop job plans for preventative maintenance (PM) routes
oMake recommendations on spare parts strategy
The Experience You Will Bring
Requirements:
- Experience troubleshooting and repairing equipment on multiple converting lines
- Demonstrated ability to work and function in a team environment
- Demonstrated ability to learn, apply, and teach technical knowledge and skills
- Demonstrated ability to organize, schedule, and execute tasks effectively
- Experience using verbal, written and interpersonal communication
What Will Put You Ahead
- Two (2) or more years of rolled/folded converting or mill mechanical maintenance experience
- At least two (2) or more years of experience in work order management systems to initiate repairs and document reliability opportunities (current systems are Ventyx and PTM)
- Experience working with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
