SRG Global is seeking a Director of Strategic Planning and Analysis (SP&A) at its corporate office in Troy, MI. The ideal candidate will advance the strategic point of view of in key products and platforms. This role will interface with the global organization in identifying and screening capital investment and market development opportunities in support of overall corporate strategic initiatives in addition to collaborating with new technology product development and R&D functions to drive a clear economic understanding around innovation opportunities.

What You Will Do In Your Role

  • Full value chain/stream analysis specifically pertaining to identification of waste and opportunities 
  • Global market research including supply/demand, macro driver trends, & competitive position 
  • Support advancement of asset strategies and capital planning 
  • Conduct financial modeling, business analyses and evaluation of new opportunities 
  • Lead market research and analysis to help identify and investigate market and segment opportunities 
  • Support the business in joint-development agreements or commercial partnerships 

The Experience You Will Bring


  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Business; or related quantitative field
  • At least FOUR years of any combination of experience in strategic consulting, strategic planning/corporate development, business development, and/or growth strategy
  • At least TWO years of management consulting experience (i.e. Bain, McKinsey, Boston Consulting Group, or similar)
  • Able to travel domestic/international as needed, including overnight stays (up to 25% of the time)  

What Will Put You Ahead

  • Manufacturing Experience (Automotive a plus!)
  • Leadership or Supervisory Experience (i.e. coaching/mentoring/leading teams/developing talent)
