Operations Manager

Description

Provide effective leadership and administration of plant functional areas to obtain optimum efficiency and economy in the operation. Achieve plant, divisional and company goals set forth each year.

What You Will Do In Your Role

  • Manage and direct all plant operations: customer service, manufacturing, purchasing, warehouse, manufacturing engineering, H&S and facility maintenance, to achieve business plan objectives while providing customer service and satisfaction.

  • Direct the continuous improvement efforts of the facility including focal point development and deployment throughout the operation to achieve objectives.

  • Review plant progress on an ongoing basis vs key business plan goals/focal points and make necessary adjustments to achieve objectives.

  • Manage the regional S&OP process.

  • Support and drive key plant initiatives in cost reduction, quality improvement, delivery and inventory reduction.

  • Support external customer needs to assure product reliability and acceptance. Provide operational support as needed to resolve customer issues and discrepancies.

  • Understand, support and contribute to current International Standards Organization (ISO) and Quality & Environmental, and Health $ Safety (EH&S) Management Systems by ensuring compliance with stated policies and procedures within the plant.

  • Drive, oversee, manage and implement Corporate Social Responsibility/EICC initiatives and ensure compliance to all labour and employment related policies and procedures.

  • Maintain a safe plant working environment with good housekeeping practices.

  • Encourage, support and foster an environment of open communication within the plant and between the plant and divisional resources.

The Experience You Will Bring

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, manufacturing, engineering or related field

  • 6-10 years experience in a key connector manufacturing discipline (molding, stamping, plating, assembly) with 3+ years of supervisory

  • Effective interpersonal skills and strong communication skills

  • Excellent English and Polish language skills (both oral and verbal)
