What You Will Do In Your Role

The Plant Engineer Field Services role supports Project work, “Keep it Running” Maintenance, and our Turnaround organization. As a Field Services Plant Engineer your responsibilities include assisting Project Managers, our Turnaround organization and Small Cap Project Managers with the planning, coordination, and transformation, with oversight, of multiple refinery projects to meet safety, environmental, quality, and productivity goals while meeting project objectives. By working with these various groups, you will be growing your knowledge and decision rights. We are looking for an individual who effectively manages time and multiple initiatives while demonstrating solid team work performance, has critical thinking and problem-solving skills, construction knowledge, project management capability, is proficient with the Microsoft Office 365 suite of tools and has knowledge of or is willing to experiment with others forms of technology. While we are seeking a candidate with a good technical background, we also need someone with managerial and leadership skills because that is what this job is all about – getting results through transformation, people and working in a team. The candidate will be able to effectively and clearly communicate ideas both formally and informally, be self-motivated, and driven to get results. You may be actively involved during refinery turnarounds and shutdowns, working varied shifts and continuous days during the scheduled turnarounds. 

The Experience You Will Bring


  • 2+ years of experience in refining or other petrochemical/industrial facilities
  • Bachelor of Science in an applicable engineering discipline or construction management

What Will Put You Ahead

  • Construction execution experience
  • Project execution experience
