Shift: 2nd Shift - Monday - Friday (6:00pm - 2:30am)

The selected candidate will assure compliance of molded product to Molex and customer specifications. Set-up inspection, in-process inspection, SPC, and final audit of molded product. What You Will Do In Your Role
- Submissions: New setups, end of runs, continuations and repaired tools.
- Contain non-conforming product from the production floor.
- Terminate production if product does not meet quality standards.
- Inspect product from all molding product areas.
- Communicate clearly and with detail the quality status to tool room and operators.
- In-process inspection of molded products.
- Record end of run information in computer.
- Perform SPC data charting.
- Suggest and learn changes made to improve the inspection process.
- Work with teams to improve quality and address quality notifications.
- Aid management, toolroom and production in the solution of production problems.
- Help improve the quality knowledge of all molding employees.
- Maintain a safe work environment.
- Additional duties as assigned by management.
The Experience You Will Bring
Requirements:
- 2+ years' experience in manufacturing environment
- Ability to lift and move up to 35 pounds
- Ability to read blueprints
- Knowledge of the use of calipers to measure parts
What Will Put You Ahead
- Associate's degree in a related field
- Manufacturing quality control experience
- Knowledge of/experience with micrometers, optical comparator, microscope, smart scope
