Account Manager Position – Northeast District
Molex is seeking a dynamic and proactive Account Manager to support focus accounts in the Northeast District (New England, CT, NY, NJ, E. PA). This individual will be responsible for driving the development of new opportunities as well as managing our existing business with the primary objective of growing profitable revenue for Molex. As an Account Manager you will need to be detailed and organized with the ability to work closely with others. This includes other members of Molex’s Global Sales and Marketing Team as well as Product Management, Engineering, Manufacturing, and Quality. In this role you will also need work closely with our Distribution partners.
What You Will Do In Your Role
- Work closely with engineering at our focus accounts to identify new opportunities as well as potential new products for Molex.
- Maintain an up to date and accurate opportunity pipeline using Sales Force. Meet opportunity pipeline line expectations.
- Track and coordinate business at multiple locations globally.
- Strong communication skills (written and verbal) to allow you to clearly define opportunities, explain products, and close business.
- Maintain account profiles for these focus accounts and develop a business plan that will allow you to meet or exceed our corporate revenue and profitability goals.
The Experience You Will Bring
Requirements:
- Bachelors or Technical Degree
- 3+ Years’ experience in the electronic component or interconnect industry
What Will Put You Ahead
- Have you ever held a position as a Product Manager or Design Engineer?
- Have you ever worked directly, or as a Sales Representative, for a connector manufacturer?
- Have you ever been responsible for customers in MA, NH, RI, or VT?
- Have you ever been responsible for customers in CT?
- Have you ever been responsible for customers in NJ or LI?
