  • This position is based out of the Georgia-Pacific Port Hudson, LA facility and will primarily focus on being the site Extended Warehouse Management (EWM) System Administrator, which requires the configuration changes for new SKUs, products, and processes. This position will also be required to perform regression testing that takes place as part of Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) systematic changes. This role will manage warehouse inventory and communicate with service groups such as vendors, spotting service, and Georgia-Pacific Corporate groups to ensure both internal and external customer needs are met will also be a large part of this role. This individual will be the subject matter expert in terms of vitals, finished goods, shipments, spotting, and systems permissions. Attention to detail is a critical component of this role

The ideal candidate for this role will possess strong written and verbal communication skills, attention to detail, the ability to learn and teach new and complex systems, and the ability to multi-task and prioritize based on vision.


A Day In The Life Typically Includes:

  • Set up new SKUs and adjust the current configurations in EWM system based on issues that arise
  • Ensure new employees are set up and can access all necessary systems and screens
  • Manage the inventory counts of vitals, work in process, and finished good
  • Maintain open communications with service groups (spotting, vendors, Customer Service, Planners, Allocators, Quality) to ensure both internal and external customer needs are met
  • Assist with root cause analysis when converting material flow or system issues occur
  • Demonstrate ability to fully function in multiple system applications – EWM, ICPAQ, E80, S4, 4Sight

The Experience You Will Bring


  • High School Diploma or higher
  • Proficient Computer skills: Experience in Microsoft Office Software (Excel, Outlook, Word, Teams)

What Will Put You Ahead

  • 2+years prior experience in a logistics role
  • Experience using the following software: ICPAQ, SAP, MS Office, SharePoint, 4Sight
  • Leadership experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Organizational and administration experience

Currently, only candidates with the ability to sit full time in the Georgia-Pacific facility in Zachary, LA will be considered.
