Guardian Glass is seeking you to become our next Maintenance Engineer!

What You Will Do In Your Role
- Assist in restoring failed equipment to operations
- Analyze downtime to pareto failures
- Maintainability studies to minimize MTTR
- Facilitate RCA’s to prevent failures from reoccurring
- Participate in Design-for-Reliability reviews
- Assist in estimating maintenance costs and evaluating alternatives
- Work directly with maintenance crews to identify opportunities for improvement
- Help improve the troubleshooting skills of the craftsmen
- Work and coordinate with OEMs and 3rd party support vendors for technical support
The Experience You Will Bring
Requirements:
- 4-year Technical or Engineering degree from an accredited college OR equivalent experience
- 3+ years’ experience working in the maintenance field in an industrial setting
- Ability to read blueprints, and electrical control drawings
- Experience with complex projects, ability to analyze problems quickly, and develop corrective actions.
- Ability to work effectively and communicate across multiple levels.
- Demonstrated success in measuring and improving processes to meet company goals
- Ability to coordinate with other departments and managers and work as a team.
- Skilled in the use of common hand and power tools
- Ability to work all schedules
- Must pass a background check and drug test
What Will Put You Ahead
- Experience in the glass manufacturing industry
- CAD skills
- Experience in a Market Based Management culture
- Familiarity with predictive maintenance technologies
- Experience with precision maintenance
