- Develop Sales and Marketing strategy at Distributor corporate level. Organize and lead monthly global marketing calls. Hold regions and distributor accountable for executing action items / plans.

- Communicate Sales strategies and promotional plans to the RDSM's to implement at the branch level.
|
- Establish corporate quarterly reviews for progress and future planning (to include market share capture data).
|
- Develop a corporate Sales/Business Plan and insure the implementation of this plan at the distributor branch locations with the RDSM's via a Quarterly Review process at the branches.
|
- Develop short-term plans to improve the Molex sales performance of underperforming branches. Co-develop corrective action plans with the assigned RDSM.
|
- Ensure that the distributor’s corporate asset, engineering, and marketing personnel are trained and educated on Molex products and how to sell them into the marketplace.
|
- Written and verbal progress reports to Molex Sales Management regarding performance to plan, issues, problems, and opportunities.
|
- Define and establish systems interface and communications link between Distributor and Molex. Utilize tools such as EDI and e-commerce to assure that transaction costs are minimized.
|
- Establish and facilitate meetings and communications between Molex and Distributor’s executive management to assure that our mutual goals are aligned.
|
- Establish product promotional programs utilizing co-op funds to be driven by Distributors corporate management.
|
- Maintain awareness of and report on competitive activity at the major Distributors.
|
- Monitor Distributor’s inventory and profit levels to maximize mind share with the Molex product offering.
|
- Review and rectify pricing compliance issues including price discrepancies, deal volume accuracy and renewal acceptance.
|
- Leverage all of the Distributor’s possible sales avenues including all divisions, selling groups and market initiatives in order to maximize Molex sales and profits
- Implement new product introductions stocking packages and manage obsolescence.
- Coordinate and assist in multi-location request for quotations.
- Maintain, update and ensure compliance to Authorized Distribution agreement. Level of frequency needed, 1-2 yrs.
