Description

Molex Global Compliance is seeking a Learning & Development Specialist to assist with the project management of various learning initiatives across the organization, primarily with the Molex Mandatory Training Program. The successful candidate will be proactive and have excellent communication, project management, organization, collaboration, and interpersonal skills. They will also display innovative, original thinking, creativity, and an interest in the future of learning ecosystems and learning technology. They should have a positive outlook and love addressing challenges and bringing solutions to the table.

What You Will Do In Your Role

Participate in needs analysis and recommend effective learning solutions.
Build effective working relationships with SMEs to efficiently gather content needs.
Collaborate with cross-functional project teams to develop resources and programs that support organizational initiatives.
Assist with the design and development of engaging course materials.
Drive solutions from a learner perspective with a focus on results.
Work with third-party vendors contracted to develop learning solutions to provide feedback and instruction on course development.
Actively maintain all learning content, training folders and supporting documentation.
Respond to and prioritize ad hoc requests and queries received in the Global Compliance email inbox.
Administer, curate, schedule, and assign learning via the Learning Management System (LMS).
Design, conduct and analyze evaluation programs using levels 1, 2 & 3 evaluation.
Run regular and ad-hoc reports as needed to monitor learning activity.
Maintain evidence of training completion and compliance for all employees across the organization.
Provide coordination and administrative support in relation to learning projects and programs.
Develop detailed work plans, project goals, project timelines, communication, and other supporting documentation.
Manage projects efficiently to ensure on-time completion, anticipation of roadblocks, proactive resolution and clear communication of project timelines and requirements.

The Experience You Will Bring

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree or higher in Learning & Development or a related field (i.e., Education, Curriculum Design, Training).
2+ years of related experience in adult learning theory and instructional design.
Experience designing instructor-led and/or online courses.

What Will Put You Ahead

CPLP, ATD or other training certifications.
MA degree in Learning & Development or similar relevant field.
A portfolio of work that includes eLearning and facilitated courses.
Experience with eLearning content authoring tools (e.g. Articulate Storyline, Articulate Rise or Adobe Captivate).
Experience working with Learning Management Systems.
Experience in a multi-cultural organization with diverse populations and stakeholders.
