Open due to promotion! Join a dynamic team responsible for assuring compliance of stamped product to Molex and customer specifications .
What You Will Do In Your Role
| Visual inspection of stamped product. |
| Dimensional inspection of stamped product. |
| Functional testing of stamped product. |
| Gauging and hourly inspection of stamped product . |
| Communicate clearly and with detail the quality status to tool room and operators. |
| Document dimensional, visual, gauging and functional test results. |
| Terminate production if product does not meet quality standards. |
| Contain non-conforming product from the production floor. |
| Enter quality related information into SFC upon acceptance or rejection. |
| Operate and maintain all inspection equipment. |
| Aid management, toolroom and production in the solution of production problems. |
| Collect data for process capability and gage potential studies. |
| Communicate improvements through suggestion system. |
| Communicate to quality management situations that may contribute to future quality problems. |
| Responsible for the notification, review and understanding of either changes needing made to inspection plan or changes that have already been made to inspection plan or part print. |
| Aid in design of terminal and test fixtures. |
| Orient and help train new employees. |
| Setup, debug and maintenance of vision systems. |
| Communicate vision system issues related but not limited to program enhancements, problems, and fixturing. |
| Assist production with vision system problems & verification of rejects. |
The Experience You Will Bring
Requirements:
One year manufacturing quality control experience.
Ability to read blueprints, and the know-how to use the following measuring equipment: Optical comparator, toolmaker’s microscope, smart scope, micrometers and calipers.

Associates degree in a related field
