Description
Global Product Manager
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
-Develop and implement strategic product business plan with market, industries and customers targets.
-Identify opportunities to establish and develop industry partners relationship to increase revenue/margins and pipelines.
-Optimize the use of resources for the best returns of investment
-Increase profitability with waste elimination.
-Develop product portfolio to align with market trends -
Develop product promotion and commercialization plans including sales tools, literature, training and sampling.
-Manage product capacity to maximize utilization and market shares
-Manage product life cycle and obsolete products to maximize assets utilization
-Manage any other products or related duties as assigned by management
EDUCATION: REQUIRED:
•Bachelor of Engineering or Science or relevant tertiary education.
PREFERRED:
•Engineering/Science major with Business minor.
WORK EXPERIENCE: REQUIRED:
•>7 years of relevant experience in product management in electronic industry.
PREFERRED:
•With Sales/Marketing and/or engineering development experience in electronic industry
SKILLS & ABILITIES:
REQUIRED:
•Independent, proactive and mature workers with good organizing skills
•Self-motivated and goal oriented.
•Interpersonal skills to effectively work all internal and external stakeholders.
•Fast learner in economics of business decision.
•Effective written and oral communication skills that demonstrate the ability to express ideas, exchange information clearly and concisely.
•Travel to customers and plants as needed.
PREFERRED:
•SAP experience. Experience in negotiating and working with electronics market OEMs/ODMs and Contract manufacturers CM.
