Senior Financial Analyst 

Molex’s Copper Solutions Business Unit is recruiting for a Senior Financial Planning Analyst who will be responsible for managing financial reporting and accounting oversight across the four global CSBU business segments.

 This role will work closely with our manufacturing plant finance teams, global shared finance functions, marketing, operations and our segment and business unit leadership to provide insightful reporting, oversee financial transactions and improve processes to help the business achieve its financial objectives.

 The position will be managed out of Lisle, IL; remote candidates are encouraged to apply. 

What You Will Do In Your Role

  • Collaborate across business unit and corporate finance teams to complete complex accounting transactions and produce required monthly financial reporting
  • Build, optimize and oversee accounting processes for fixed asset transfers, intercompany transactions, customer incentive payments and balance sheet accruals
  • Communicate the impact that accounting transactions have on business results to key stakeholders
  • Manage product/volume/mix analysis for the segments to grow profitability
  • Collaborate with the global accounting group on accounting transactions and financial reporting
  • Support other ad hoc analysis as needed

A successful candidate will have the following attributes:

  • Excellent communication and analytical skills, with the ability to build analysis as needed to assess new business challenges
  • Strong Microsoft Excel skills (comfortable with pivot tables, Excel formulas, working with large amounts of data)
  • Finance business partner mindset: Consistently creates insightful, high-quality work product; is accountable, organized, and responsive; is resilient and resourceful
  • Experience in building relationships and influencing outcomes across many different stakeholders and business partners
  • Enjoys working in dynamic and fast-paced environments, and is comfortable managing through ambiguity when necessary
  • Collaborative, down-to-earth and fun to work with
  • Not afraid to challenge the status quo

        The Experience You Will Bring

        Requirements:

          • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting or Economics or similar accounting/finance experience
          • Strong Microsoft Excel skills (comfortable with pivot tables, Excel formulas, working with large amounts of data)


            What Will Put You Ahead

            • Experience working with SAP, Business Warehouse, BPC or other EPM applications
            • CPA, CGMA or other business certificates
            • Experience in a mid to large size manufacturing organization
            • Advanced knowledge of accounting principles
