Guardian Industries is currently seeking a Production Manager to join our Corsicana, Texas team. This is a great opportunity for candidates who are interested in advancing their career with a goal of plant management. This position is responsible for leading the operations team in maximizing long-term value creation around Safety, Compliance, Quality, Customer Service, and advancing our MBM culture. This position is also accountable for providing leadership and demonstrating a clear commitment to continually improving operations and advancing the culture.

What You Will Do In Your Role

  • Leadership of a high-functioning, 24/7/365-day large scale manufacturing operation including people, process, equipment and administration.
  • Manage operations ensuring production goals are met or exceeded with reliable operations, while promoting safety and environmental compliance
  • Build strong customer relations, and create and foster a positive work environment through enthusiasm and team-work.
  • Drive continuous improvement through innovating and transformation of the business.
  • Promote an environment where the team achieves zero incidents in Environmental, Health, and Safety.
  • Advance our MBM Culture: create a company culture deliberately, and “by design – not default”.
  • Recruit, challenge and develop the future leaders of the plant and company.
  • Responsible for people management systems, including employee performance development, recognition, compatibility, and employee progression / readiness.
  • Coach and mentor leaders

The Experience You Will Bring


  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Business or a closely related discipline.
  • 5+ years of management in a large manufacturing plant environment.
  • Effective change agent and relationship development track record in a cross-functional organization
  • Several years of experience in a union-free manufacturing plant environment.
  • Proven track-record of mentoring and developing future leaders.
  • Advanced communication skills – (written, one-on-one, and presentations).
  • Solid understanding of Lean Manufacturing principles and techniques.
  • Interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively teach, coach and mentor people.
  • Ability to understand and trouble-shoot technical problems in a manufacturing environment.
  • Proficiency using MS Office applications, including Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
