Senior Product Marketing Manager

Description

We are looking for a high-energy, motivated individual interested in contributing to the Sentient Energy team as Senior Product Marketing Manager. The Senior Product Marketing Manager is responsible for Sentient Energy’s product marketing strategy for all products, solutions and services and drives all product marketing activities and programs associated with successfully promoting Sentient Energy products, solutions, and services.   

What You Will Do In Your Role

  • Product liaison for product management and marketing/sales/services
  • Create all product demos for: 
    • High level for trade shows
    • Use Case Flow
    • Various lengths for customer presentations
    • Train team on how give the demo in a story format focusing on value props
    • Lead demo support for conferences
  • Work with product management on competitive analysis
  • Create technical sales tools
  • Create silver bullet sheets for sales team
  • Define all product positioning and value propositions:
    • Features and benefits associated with all products and solutions
    • These features and benefits will be the basis for the website and outbound material
  • Owns product launch activities which Include:
    • Providing marcom details for press releases
    • Creating product datasheets (or updating)
    •  Product photos
  • Product support for sales
  • Lead product evangelization
  • Technical writing: white papers, tech briefs, articles
  • Responsible for product marketing strategy
  • Works with Product Management and Corporate Communication to develop messaging/positioning for Sentient Energy’s products/solutions/services – ensuring consistency across product line and with corporate messaging
  • Develop product/service-oriented content for corporate marketing materials, sales tools, and web site
  • Support marketing with product launches, conferences and campaigns

The Experience You Will Bring

Requirements:

  • At least 5 years of experience with technical products and product marketing
  • Marketing experience with an emphasis on product management, marketing communications, and product positioning and messaging
  • Experience in the energy or power distribution industry
  • Technical experience/background in sensor, software analytics or utility technology 

What Will Put You Ahead

  • 10 or more years of experience with technical products and product marketing
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business (Marketing or Management) or Engineering
