Georgia-Pacific is seeking a Work Process Assistant for our Dudley, NC Lumber mill. If you are self-motivated and self-driven this is the position for you! This is an exciting opportunity for someone to join a team that makes a positive impact to the company and the customers we serve. This role will provide administrative support to team members in a variety of functions. We are looking for someone with a positive attitude, personable and professional with the ability to effectively communicate with a diverse group of colleagues and customers. Looking for individuals who have knowledge in Excel, Word, and Microsoft Office and willing to learn our systems (MP2, MDM, & AFAL) while also wanting to continue to learn and grow!

Our Lumber mill in Dudley, NC manufactures dimensional lumber of superior quality to meet the demanding needs of builders.

A successful candidate will have the following attributes:

·Strong written and verbal communication skills, as well as interpersonal skills to effectively interact with individuals both within and outside the organization 

·Dependable and capable of prioritizing multiple items in a fast-paced, fast-changing environment; able to adapt seamlessly and proactively within a fluid work environment 

·Able to provide high-volume, high-accuracy calendaring, travel, and expense support 

·Able to exercise judgment and discretion while utilizing company policies and practices to determine appropriate action 

·Collaborative team player Self-starter who possesses a strong initiative to improve processes without waiting for specific instructions; proactive and creative in finding ways to help and create value for the team 

·Able to quickly learn new technology, software, and processes 

What you will bring to this role

Basic Requirements:

·Two (2) or more years of professional office experience 

·Two (2) or more years of experience in customer service 

·Experience working with and maintaining confidential information 

·Proficient with Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint, Microsoft Office 

·Available to work overtime to meet requirements of the job if needed 

·High school diploma or GED 

What will put you ahead

Preferred Requirements:

·Proficient typing and computer skills

·Knowledge of MP2, MDD, or AFAL

    ·Two (2) or more years of experience supporting or working in a team environment 

    Salary and Benefits Commensurate with Experience.
