Production Assistant
Description
Georgia-Pacific is looking for a Production Assistant for our Lebanon, TN sheet feeder plant.
$500 sign-on bonus paid after 90 days of employment!!
This role will have the exciting opportunity to join a close-knit team dedicated to safety. This position creates value by safely assisting with the production of corrugated sheets to be made into printed boxes for our valued customers. Opportunities for advancement as openings occur. Must be willing to work any shift. This will include overtime, holidays, and weekends.
What you will do in your role.
- Arranging orders on machine centers and running product to meet customer specifications
- Performing required quality checks
- Adhering to all safety and environmental guidelines, policies, and procedures
- Housekeeping of production area to ensure a safe and orderly work environment
The experience you will bring.
- Willing and able to work in a hot, humid, cold, and noisy industrial environment
- Willing and able to work any shift, weekends, holidays, and overtime as required
- Willing and able to maintain strict adherence to safety rules and regulations, including wearing safety equipment
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience troubleshooting in a manufacturing setting
- Previous experience working with computers
- Previous experience in a corrugated box plant
Education
High School diploma or GED
Salary and benefits commensurate with experience.
