Engr, Tooling

Description

Coordinate the design, manufacture, validation and follow-up until the successful implementation of the development of new tooling, as well as optimizing the operation and performance of the existing tooling in the organization.

What You Will Do In Your Role

  • Carry out analysis and feasibility of new projects
  • Design and manufacture of tooling
  • Achieve validation and approval of the manufacture of tools with national and international Tool Makers
  • Start-up and internal validation of tooling
  • Support to clients for the generation of engineering changes in their products
  • Contribute to feasibility meetings and support in the design of new products
  • Perform and approve design for the manufacture of tooling
  • Follow-up to the manufacture of tooling
  • Generation of drawings
  • Participate in MTTR's
  • Document the tests based on validation protocols and generate the preventive maintenance plan and start-up procedures
  • Modify tooling updating the CAD to the latest revision

Education

  • Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, Manufacturing or Related Engineering, 
  • At least 5 years of experience in workshop, design and mold manufacturing areas.
