Georgia-Pacific Professional, located in Green Bay, WI, is seeking a talented individual to join our Customer Service team. The Customer Order and Logistics Specialist role creates value for the organization by managing customer orders, analyzing trends, creatively solving problems and presenting innovative solutions to internal processes and customer’s challenges which creates long-term customer satisfaction and efficiency improvements.

What You Will Do In Your Role

  • Maintaining effective customer relations through prompt and efficient service
  • Initiating all order and pricing related business and policy changes with customers
  • Working with customers on forecasting accuracy to maximize truckload utilization and correct mode of transportation
  • Managing purchase orders from order to cash for Commercial, Meal and Beverage, and Copy Paper products
  • Documenting customer interactions and communicating issues in an effective and timely manner
  • Acting as a liaison between buyers and sales representatives, mill and outside warehouses, shipping, transportation, product supply, and revenue management 

The Experience You Will Bring


  • High School diploma or GED
  • One or more of the following:
    • An Associate Degree or higher with six (6) months of experience working in Business, Logistics, Supply Chain or business to business customer service
    • A minimum of two (2) years of experience working in logistics, a business professional setting or business to business customer service (call center not applicable)
    • Pursing a Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited four (4) year college or university with an anticipated graduation date within one (1) year
  • Experience using Microsoft Office programs such as Word to write business correspondence, Excel for use of spreadsheets, reporting and simple formulas, and Outlook for internal and external correspondence.
  • Available for occasional travel up to 10% of the time

What Will Put You Ahead

  • SAP experience
  • Salesforce software experience
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business or Supply Chain
