Flint Hills Resources is looking for a Software Developer - Associate to join our team at our Wichita, KS headquarters. FHR IT is undergoing a rapid transformation as we quickly adopt newer, more modern platforms that touch on every aspect of our business. As a Software Developer, you will be a key part of this modern transformation.

What You Will Do In Your Role
A Day In The Life Typically Includes:
·Integrating applications and business processes together to streamline our business
·Troubleshooting complex and distributed systems
·Owning projects, applications, and processes
·Working with AWS and other cloud platforms to deliver creative, sustainable solutions
·Analyzing business needs and providing technical alternatives
·Collaborating as part of a large team across multiple disciplines, focusing the right resources on the right tasks
·Working with modern platforms such as Dell Boomi, SaaS APIs, AWS and others
·Support and modernization of legacy platforms
·Participate in a 24/7 on-call rotation, approximately one week per quarter
·Travel (5% to 15%) to various plant locations to work directly with customers and understand their business operations
The Experience You Will Bring
Requirements:
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in IT or STEM related field OR 2+ years of work
- Ability to effectively explain their coding logic, process and abilities

Preferred Qualifications:
- Passion for writing code
- Including your GitHub link
- Proven experience in learning and applying new technology and concepts
- Preferred experience with NodeJS, AWS, C#, .Net & Dell Boomi
