Master Planner

Description

Molex is seeking a dynamic and experienced Master Planner. In this role, the successful candidate will be responsible for managing planning activities. 

What You Will Do In Your Role

· Ensure 100% on-time delivery.Establish build readiness.

· Own production planning,

· Analyze material and capacity requirements and communicate constraints

· Maintain the capacity planning model; drive resolution on uneven capacity utilization that keeps Molex focused on the customer but efficiently utilizing manufacturing resources.

· Meet daily with the manufacturing team to assess production schedules, optimize run quantities, and minimize changeovers to help achieve 100% on time delivery.

· Own the build schedule, planned tactics on deadlines for assemblies out of the various work areas on the floor, deadline for shipment.

The Experience You Will Bring

Requirements:

·Two years of planning experience

·Thorough knowledge of MRP, lead times for specific component types, internal run rates Complete understanding of the chronological sequence of events that must occur in order to build a product.

What Will Put You Ahead

• Experience with Electronic Component manufacturing considered a strong plus
• APICS Certification
• Bachelor’s degree preferred
• Supervisory Experience
