JOHN ZINK HAMWORTHY COMBUSTIONis a world-leading supplier of combustion products; our equipment is supplied for applications in various markets with a focus on the refining and petrochemical Industry. The range of products covers burners, flares, thermal oxidizers, boiler burners, and vapor recovery systems. Our headquarters for European operations are in Dudelange, GD of Luxembourg.

You will be trained within our EHS department and be actively involved in the development of our EHS Culture and in the management of our Environmental & Safety Management System.

You will be in daily contact with our Luxembourg teams (Office, Manufacturing and Test Center).

What You Will Do In Your Role

  • Support the development of our EHS Culture by acting and demonstrating your entrepreneurship in EHS topics.
  • Support our ISO certified EHS management system and learn how to maintain our ISO certifications
  • Learn to be a proactive member of the EHS team and handle daily safety and environmental topics.
  • Assist the team with performance of EHS audits (shop tour, internal audit…).
  • Works closely with all interested parties (Administration, Management, Compliance team, HR team, Maintenance team, employees, workers, union representatives …).

The Experience You Will Bring


  • You are preparing a Master/ bachelor’s degree at the University with a specialization in Environmental, Health & Safety
  • Fluent in French and English. Any additional languages will be valued.
  • Good interpersonal skills, team spirit, flexibility and positive can-do attitude.

What Will Put You Ahead

  • Good knowledge in IT tools.
  • Resourceful and results oriented.
