Manufacturing Engineer

based in the Katowice region

What You Will Do In Your Role

  • Functions as a liaison with project engineering, manufacturing, and the customer regarding the implementation of programs; including injection moulding process automation, secondary operations, product assembly and manufacturing logistics 
  • Provide technical support/solutions to manufacturing processes, driving to achieve and exceed yield targets, with continuous cost reduction and optimal quality 
  • Coordinate, direct and lead engineering efforts to ensure optimum engineering of projects/programs to meet customer and manufacturing requirements 
  • Interface with customers on a regular basis to provide project updates and resolve issues 
  • Support (and sometimes lead) communication between customer, sales, engineering functions, outside vendors, local manufacturing and across multi-divisional groups 
  • Maintain cost control and profitability through interaction with the accounting group, sales and our customers 
  • Implement technical solutions to meet customer and company cost, quality, and delivery expectations 
  • Facilitate and support facility and manufacturing safety, environmental and ergonomics efforts 
  • Create and monitor project timelines 
  • Travel to other facilities may be required to support business needs 
  • Actively participate in continuous improvement/innovation, and CAPA actions 
  • Safety/Environmental: 
    • Where applicable, individuals will be required to ensure safety is planned into their work activities to improve performance 
    • Proactively identify safety concerns 
    • Comply with Environmental Management System Program SOP’s/WI, Policy & Program elements and encourage responsible use of resources 

The Experience You Will Bring


  • Strong and diverse assembly technology experience (including high speed automation), materials, manufacturing, quality, and process design skills desired 
  • Ability to use CAD to determine if tooling, equipment, and part designs meet requirements 
  • Ability to manage work within multiple mid to large-scale projects 
  • Demonstrated superior communication, teamwork, and organizational skills 
  • Ability to accurately cost design, tools/equipment, and parts 
  • Ability to develop and meet demanding project schedules, along with contingency plans 
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and meet financial goals 
  • Demonstrated ability to think out of the box and recommend options to resolve problems 
  • Ability to lead others. Responsibility may include direct supervision of technicians and mentoring/leading engineers 
  • Demonstrated broad understanding of technologies used in medical device and consumer products 

What Will Put You Ahead

  • Bachelor’s Degree in an engineering field with 3+ years of related experience in a manufacturing /operations environment 
  • Experience working in a medical manufacturing environment preferred
