We are currently seeking a Material Handler, within the SRG Global Farmington, MO facility. The purpose of this role is to maintain precise and continuous flow of product throughout our production facility in a timely and efficient manner, while maintaining our inventory accuracy. Must be open and flexible to working in other stations within the department or plant as business needs. 

What You Will Do In Your Role

  • Complete task in accordance with IATF 16949 based procedures and work instructions.
  • Full understanding of product locations and movement of same
  • Good awareness of product transfers and use for hand held scanner
  • Operate equipment in a safe manner
  • Maintain and follow all safety standards and regulations system
  • Maintain inventory accuracy objectives
  • Communicate all product count discrepancies immediately to ensure resolution in a quick manner
  • Receive parts into inventory and move product to stock and point of use locations
  • Prepare finished goods for shipment to the customer
  • Maintain a full understanding of each customer’s expectations of bar coding and advanced shipping notification
  • Accurately monitor Kanban locations
  • Conduct cycle counts and report results to Master Scheduler and/or planner
  • Support the coordination of production schedules with our preventive maintenance program
  • Ability to meet and maintain 100% accuracy depending on role within 3 weeks to 1 month of training as noted by above

The Experience You Will Bring


  • Ability to operate forklift and other material handling equipment in a safe manner
  • Written, verbal communication, and basic math skills
  • Exposure to computers and basic keypunching
  • Ability to work unsupervised and manage time appropriately and work efficiently with results
  • Able to work well within a team environment promoting trust and respect with co-workers in a three-shift operation

What Will Put You Ahead

  • Tugger, power equipment, and stand up forklift, previous forklift certification a plus
  • Familiarization with inventory control
  • Experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Highly motivated self-starting individual who is comfortable working as a team
