We are looking for you to become one of our Trade Documentation Specialist on our Order-to-Cash team in Cairo, Egypt.

In this role, you will review letter of credit documents to determine compliance with International Standards. You will be responsible to mitigate the risk by accepting only clean negotiable Letters of Credit by verifying terms of credit and make sure all the details described are in accordance with the sales contract and applicable rules of UCP 600.You must handle the customers and banks independently and must have good communication skills.

What You Will Do In Your Role

  • Follow up and Receive LCs from our banks in Saudi, UAE and Thailand
  • Scrutinize the LCs and ask for amendments, if any, to customers and Customer Service teams directly
  • Compliance clauses to be clarified with Compliance team
  • Update systems with LC details and conditions
  • Creating ocean bill of lading instructions as per LC for shipping companies
  • Generate final invoices and packing list after receipt of ocean bill of lading
  • Prepare following docs as per LC conditions:
  • Invoice
  • Packing list
  • Beneficiary Certificates
  • Bill of Exchange
  • Bank cover letter
  • Compile the documents as per LC and arrange to submit to bank per regional requirements
  • Trouble shoot discrepancies, if any, directly with bank
  • Follow up with bank and make sure the docs are dispatched to issuing bank after negotiation
  • Scan copy of all documents for our records
  • Send copy of documents to customer by mail
  • Follow up with bank and make sure the documents are dispatched to issuing bank after negotiation

The Experience You Will Bring


  • Egyptian National and Residing in Egypt. 
  • Business degree preferred from an accredited institution
  • Minimum of 5 years of relevant work experience
  • Thorough knowledge of UCP600, ISBP and knowledge of URR 725
  • Thorough knowledge of Incoterms 2010 / 2020
  • Expert level in English and Arabic language
  • Basic accounting proficiency
