What you will do in your role.

  • Understand business operations and the drivers of tax effects as reported in financial statements.
  • Lead the monthly tax close process
  • Lead the consolidation and review of the quarterly and year-end tax accounting information
  • Assist in preparation of interim and year-end financial statement documentation for audit and tax footnotes
  • Identify and develop process improvements to gain efficiencies within the group in order to facilitate effective and timely communication to management
  • Build relationships and share knowledge with the Tax and Controller’s organizations.
  • Assist in analyzing the impact of potential tax legislative changes

The experience you will bring.

Basic Qualifications:

  • 3 + years of tax or accounting experience
  • Experience with Microsoft Excel 


Preferred Qualifications:

  • 1+ years of income tax accounting experience (ASC740)
  • Income tax compliance and/or provision experience – corporate, partnership, foreign, or state
  • Demonstrated technical proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting systems (Oracle, HFM)

Education

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in one of the following (Accounting, Finance, or Taxation)
