Float Hot End Process Engineer
Description
As a Float Process Engineer, you will ensure continuous production by controlling raw materials; ensuring and maintaining the safe operation of the hot side (mixing housing, furnace, flue gas cleaning system, tin bath, cooling belt).
What You Will Do In Your Role
- Responsible for carrying out processes in your area safely and in accordance with the law
- Checking the quality of incoming raw materials, glass pot shipments, their use and stocks
- Supervising the mixing process
- Checking the settings and parameters of the glass manufacturing process, and necessarily performing the adjustment tasks
- Monitoring the operation of the floats (mixer, furnace, flue gas cleaning system, tin bath, cooling belt, cold end)
- Defining the settings and parameters of the glass melting, shaping and tempering processes, and monitors compliance with them
- Examining, analyzing, and verifying data on quality control equipment
- Participating in the technological and maintenance processes of the floats
- Assisting in the investigation of incoming complaints
- Increasing efficiency, optimal cost management, professional aspects, quality requirements, and adherence to the company's value system and standards
- Responsible for compliance with a legislation, as well as with ISO and other internal regulations
