Supplier Quality Engineer (m/f/d)

What you will do in your role.

  • Processing of supplier complaints
  • Development of supplier management
  • Control of the on-schedule, complete and appropriate initial sampling
  • Creation of technical documentation according to applicable standards
  • Participation in the selection of new suppliers
  • Development of quality concepts for suppliers
  • Preparing and conducting of supplier audits
  • Determination and monitoring of optimization measures
  • Organizing and conducting of process approvals with suppliers
  • Cooperation in interdisciplinary teams
  • Analysis of production processes including derivation and control of improvement measures

The experience you will bring

  • Several years of professional experience in quality management
  • Safe application of Q-methods and Q-tools (FMEA, 5-Why method, 8D, SPC, Ishikawa, PPAP etc.)
  • Experience with purchasing processes is an advantage
  • Confident knowledge of German and English language
  • An analytical and systematic working method as well as a high processes affinity
  • High level of commitment
  • High sense of responsibility
  • High communication skills (internal/external)
  • Intercultural competence
  • Willingness to learn
  • Willingness to travel, also internationally

Education

  • Technician training / Academic qualifications to the standard of Degree in industrial engineering, mechanical engineering or equivalent.
