Engineer, Customer Quality

Description

1.

Be responsible of customer quality standards. Ensure the standards, instructions are applied.

2.

Handle customer quality requests. Ensure data input into SAP system.

3.

Coordinate for QN related actions in Plant and follow up.

4.

Monitor customer quality performance. Control and improve defect rate, scraps, material consumption, sorting cost. Contact to related departments, sales and customer for quality issue and follow up improvement actions.

5.

Participate quality meetings in plant and/or with customer and reports. Take part of defect analysis, abnormality report, follow up actions, customer complain and claim, sorting, PFMEA.

6.

Take part for trial run, transfer components, products and new product development. Participate supplier, vendor assessment.

7.

Subordinate performance assessment.

8.

Clearly understand self’s and section’s goals to make contribution to obtain quality and delivery goals.

9.

Be accountable for the compliance to rules, procedures and requirement in terms of:

a.7S & KAIZEN

b.Environmental Health Safety

c.RBA & Social Responsibility

d.Protection of company assets

10.

Understand, support and contribute to current Molex Total Quality Management (TQM), Six Sigma, International Standards Organization (ISO) and Environmental, and/or Health and Safety (EH&S) Management Systems by following stated policies and procedures.

11.

Perform other related duties as assigned by management.

Education

Degree in Mechanical / Electrical and electronics
