Finance Lead


Molex is seeking a dynamic and proactive Finance Lead to support our Datacom and Specialty Solutions (DSS) division. A very high-profile role which will allow the successful candidate to have a direct impact on driving the future of business. This role will be the leading the FP&A function of Optical Solutions Business, which involves ownership of improving the regular planning and reporting processes as well as supporting ad-hoc analysis and special projects requiring detailed modeling to help drive decision-making of senior leadership. The scope of the role is highly visible within the business unit and Finance organization, so must be able to work independently and take initiative. The role will report into the Director of Finance within the business unit. 

What you will do in your role.
  • Develop reporting tools and dashboards, that will have a direct impact on the business
  • Ability to build and deploy efficient process automation through various technologies
  • Strong understanding of key accounting concepts and financial statement analysis
  • Demonstrate the ability to apply problem solving skills, identify key business drivers, and communicate complex or technical issues in written and oral formats.
  • Challenge the status quo and look for better ways to report business relevant data while ensuring efficiencies and data integrity.
  • Able to prioritize work and manage multiple tasks.
  • Strong customer focus with analytical, financial, and economic thinking skills. Capability to manage details while still able to communicate effectively at a high level.
  • Serve as key corporate contact for all financial related questions, projects and requests
  • Manage and maintain standard cost program and produce reports/develop program (costing)
  • Collaborate across multiple teams globally
  • Drive transformation in the role and in the business
  • Effective communication and ability to tell a story with logical framing and appropriate detail to a wide range of audiences including senior management
  • Perform various tasks related to monthly site financial performance reporting and analysis.
  • Respond to various analytical requests from operations, product management, business segments, and senior leadership.
The experience you will bring.
  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Accounting, Finance, Economics or Business.
  • A minimum of 5 years of finance experience, or a Masters in a business-related field and 3+ years of finance or public accounting experience
  • Experience using analytical skills for interpretation of financial statements
  • Experience Excel, Word, Power Point and General Ledger systems
  • Education
  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Accounting, Finance, Economics or Business.
