SRG Global in Covington Georgia is seeking Manufacturing process technician! We are looking for motivated associates with a passion for safety to join our team. This position is responsible for operating and troubleshooting equipment by supporting our production efficiency

Our Team
At SRG Global in Covington we will give you the tools you need to succeed and grow! This role has the opportunity to work in area of the facility including Injection Molding For this role, we anticipate paying 25-35/hr Third shift has a 1.25/hr shift differential added. There is also a $1000 retention bonus after 90 days

Open positions on 3rd Shift

  • 3rd Shift: Monday-Friday 10pm-7am


  • What You Will Do In Your Role

    • Clean and Inspect injection molds, tool and die in normal PM process
    • Install/fabricate replacement components as needed
    • Trouble shoot mold and die issues in the shop as well as in current production
    • Study specifications such as blueprints, sketches, models, or descriptions, and visualizes product to determine materials required and machines to be used to fabricate parts
    • Work in a fast-paced environment in a safe manner
    • Computes dimensions, plans layout, and determines assembly method and sequence of operations
    • Sets up and operates machine tools such as lathes, milling machine, and grinder, to machine parts, and verifies conformance of machined parts to specifications
    • Verifies dimensions, alignments, and clearances
    • Develops specifications from general descriptions for specialty tools and draws or sketches design of product
    • Using math skills daily
    • Using verbal and written communication skills
    • Develop interpersonal relationships
    • Solving analytical problems

    Physical Requirements

    • Lift up to 50-75 lbs. on occasion
    • Ability to work in fluctuating temperatures & outdoors on occasion as needed
    • Frequently required to stand and walk; use hands to finger manipulation, handle, and feel; reach with arms and hands above head; talk and hear
    • Sometimes required to climb or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or sit
    • Specific vision requirements: close, distant, color, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus

    Who you are (Basic Qualification)

    • Minimum of 4 years in the field and experience with tool shop machines
    • Willing and able to adhere to the physical requirements listed

    What Will Put You Ahead:

    • Fabrication skills such as welding/ metal working.
    • Past experience in tool and die and injection molding
    • Experience using tools/shop equipment (ie: grinders, belt sander, bandsaw)
    • Forklift experience
    • Overhead crane experience
