Lube Tech
Our Georgia- Pacific Madison, GA facility is seeking a qualified candidate, with a positive “can-do” attitude, to join our team as a Maintenance Millwright. The Millwright helps ensure the successful operation of the facility by resolving mechanical issues, recommending alternative repairs and equipment upgrades, identifying quality concerns, and understanding the production threshold of the equipment.

What You Will Do
Must be aligned with the GP Reliability Vision
Assist in maintaining lubrication lines and fittings on equipment.
Conduct housekeeping duties in lubrication storage areas and ensure that all spills are attended to and reported to your supervisor immediately.
Visually observe equipment being serviced for any potential issues and inform supervisor of discovered defects and/or submit work order for correction of issue.
Ensure that all hydraulic unit drip pans are kept drained and contaminates are dispose of properly.
Take oil samples from all units on a preset schedule.
Responsible for maintaining proper oil levels in all hydraulic units and gearboxes.
Maintain lubrication routes for checking gear box oil levels.
Maintain lubrication routes for greasing.
Ensure all hydraulic units and air compressors are cleaned on a preset schedule
Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)
Minimum of 2 years’ experience in industrial machine lubrication or 5 years industrial machine maintenance
Knowledge of gearboxes, bearing assemblies, lubrication equipment
Understanding of Predictive Maintenance procedures
Familiar with computerized lubrication scheduler program. Example: Lube It, Mobil Serv
In depth knowledge of proper lubrication techniques and materials
Familiar with oil analysis procedures
