INVISTA is looking for a Finance Operations Coordinator who has an aptitude for technology and excited about innovation to join our team.  Success in this role requires high initiative, strong communication skills and ownership of responsibilities. We are looking for someone who is a team player, and a critical thinker with the ability to handle multiple priorities simultaneously.

Our Team
This role will provide administrative support to the INVISTA Finance and Accounting Organization team members in a variety of functions ranging from general office support, travel assistance, records management assistance, as well as some accounting clerical activity. A successful candidate will posses strong customer focus and organizational skills, an ability to adapt to change quickly with a sense of urgency, problem-solving ability with excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, a high level of personal integrity and ability to maintain confidential information, a self-starter who is able to work with minimal supervision and someone able to work in a team environment with other cross-functional teams and employees across Europe, Asia and the US.

What You Will Do

  • Professional interaction with team members and company capabilities

  • Assist with some accounting clerical activities including balance sheet review and preparing requisitions
  • Maintain Delegation of Authorities application
  • Ensure an effective financial control environment by seeking and sharing knowledge, both internally and externally, to implement transformative best practices
  • Oversee onsite records management and retention in compliance with internal/external requirements
  • Aid team members by coordinating IT requests and requests for assistance with technology (video conferencing, software requests) 
  • Onboarding of employees across the organization
  • Team Support: register building visitors, process maintenance orders, office supply orders, mail processing, small event planning and conference room support
  • Leadership support such as calendar maintenance, coordination of travel arrangements and expense reporting

Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)

  • 3+ years of professional work experience

  • Previous experience in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel – sorting and formulas, Outlook – scheduling, Word – document creation/editing, PowerPoint – presentation creation/editing)

  • Previous experience communicating with all levels of an organization

  • Must have legal authorization to work permanently in the United States for any employer without requiring a visa transfer or visa sponsorship

What Will Put You Ahead

  • Previous accounting or clerical experience
  • Travel Management Skills – VISA applications/Passports
  • Previous Microsoft SharePoint experience: data libraries, site creation, maintenance
  • Previous experience with data visualization tools (Power BI, PowerApp, Tableau, or Alteryx)
  • Previous customer service and executive level administrative experience
  • Previous supervisory experience
  • Previous experience originating ideas, gathering data and performing analysis to support presentations to key stakeholders
