Our Broadway location in Green Bay, WI is searching for motivated individuals to join our team! We are looking for Converting Technicians, Material Handlers, Process Technicians, Fiber Technicians, and Fiber Material Handlers to fill immediate opportunities. Highlighted below you will find the duties/responsibilities for each respective role.
In these roles, you would work a twelve (12) hour rotating shift that includes days, nights, weekends, holidays, and overtime. We offer highly competitive starting wages which are determined by experience including a $3.00/hour shift premium. In addition to a great starting wage, team members also receive a full benefits package, overtime opportunities, two (2) weeks of vacation prorated for the first year, along with the opportunity to work in a progressive, safety-conscious work environment.
External applicants are eligible to receive a sign-on bonus equal to 15% of the total earnings from the first 90 calendar days of employment.
Converting Technician/Process Technician/Fiber Technician
What You Will Do in Your Role
- Operate equipment to defined standards and product specification targets
- Monitor and/or entry into computer control systems
- Troubleshoot equipment to optimize production
- Inspect product to ensure quality standards are met
- Perform basic asset care duties to include routine preventative maintenance and cleaning of work area
- Work as a team to help meet or exceed production, waste, quality, and safety goals
- Operate and/or work around mobile equipment
- Maintain strict adherence to safety rules and regulations, to include wearing safety equipment
- Perform tasks such as lifting, walking, climbing, stooping, standing, pushing and/or pulling for up to twelve (12) hours a day, in a loud/noisy, and industrial, high-volume environment
Fiber Material Handler
What You Will Do in Your Role
- Operating mobile equipment with various attachments; fork, box clamp, etc., to move material throughout the Fiber department to ensure a smooth flow for production
- Using a warehouse management system to manage the various jobs that need to be completed each day
- Performing general housekeeping duties to keep work areas clean and free of safety hazards
- Conduct minor and preventative maintenance repairs and tasks on fork trucks/conveyor equipment
- Load/unload wastepaper/fiber bales from trucks to conveyors
- Adhering to strict safety rules and regulations, including wearing safety Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
- Performing tasks such as lifting, walking, climbing, stooping, standing, and sitting for up to twelve (12) hours a day
Material Handler – Logistics
What You Will Do in Your Role
- Operating mobile equipment with various attachments; clamp, fork, prong, etc., to move material throughout the mill to ensure a smooth flow for production
- Using a warehouse management system to manage the various jobs that need to be completed each day
- Performing general housekeeping duties to keep work areas clean and free of safety hazards
- Conducting minor and preventative maintenance repairs and tasks on fork trucks
- Adhering to strict safety rules and regulations, including wearing safety Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
- Perform tasks such as lifting, walking, climbing, stooping, standing, pushing and/or pulling for up to twelve (12) hours a day, in a loud/noisy, and industrial, high-volume environment
