Finance Data Strategy Manager

INVISTA is seeking an experienced Manager to join our CFO organization in Wichita, KS. In this role you will partner with other teams across the globe to create and execute data strategies to deliver value to Koch and to the INVISTA businesses.

What You Will Do

  • Build strong relationships through active partnering and collaboration with finance, accounting, IT, and other Koch resources

  • Seek and share knowledge, communicate effectively, and build partnerships across the global finance organization

  • Influence Koch strategies for finance data needs, understanding value opportunities and challenging for data strategies which support the larger needs of Koch and are meaningful to INVISTA

  • Collaborate with other Koch companies in executing key data strategies aligned with INVISTA’s vision, meeting the needs of the business, and supporting USGAAP, statutory, and tax requirements

  • Apply a data centric mindset in transforming processes; influence others across the accounting and finance teams to leverage a data mentality in solutioning, reporting, and transactional activities

  • Proactively identify opportunities to transform processes and leverage systems and tools to build a data approach which supports the transactional and reporting needs of INVISTA

  • Collaborate with finance and accounting resource along with IT to optimize master data (including cost centers, GL accounts, and hierarchies) to best facilitate analysis and reporting, while meeting GAAP requirements

Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Finance, Accounting, Business, or related field
  • Five or more years of related financial accounting and/or data experience
  • Previous experience and knowledge with General Ledgers, Balance Sheets, and Income Statements
  • Previous experience in a leadership role (influencing others, developing a team, leading transformation, project leadership, etc.)
  • Previous experience implementing new/updated processes and driving change
  • Previous experience with Microsoft Office Suite or Office 365, including advanced Excel skills (spreadsheet creation/editing, pivot tables, graphs, data manipulation/analysis and formula creation)
  • Must have legal authorization to work permanently in the United States for any employer without requiring a visa transfer or visa sponsorship

What Will Put You Ahead

  • Previous experience using SAP or OneStream

  • Previous experience with data management tools/processes
  • Previous experience with data governance methodologies and approaches
  • Previous experience, knowledge and application of data centric models
