Designer
Description
John Zink is looking to hire a Designer to learn, grow, and apply their knowledge to transform the business in Tulsa, OK. The Designer will utilize 2D and 3D CAD software to generate models and drawings on a variety of combustion equipment, as well as align with our shared value system to manage challenging situations. This position requires a strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple projects and constantly review competing priorities. They will work closely with project teams across multi-functional support groups and communicate clearly across all teams throughout the project scope to solve problems and troubleshoot accordingly.
What You Will Do In Your Role
- Assist Sr. Designer / Lead with modeling and drawings on a project.
- Managing project drawings in a data management software
- Communicate with engineering and manufacturing to resolve design and fabrication problems
- Collaborate with team members to create/update drawing standards to better improve accuracy, standardization, and throughput
- Work proactively with supply chain and manufacturing teams to apply Design for Manufacturability methodology
The Experience You Will Bring
Requirements:
- Previous experience in both 2D and 3D CAD software
- Proficient in Microsoft Office programs Outlook, Word, and Excel
What Will Put You Ahead
- 2+ years’ design/drafting experience in equipment design.
- 2+ years' experience Inventor, ProEngineer, or Solidworks.
- Advanced training or experience in Inventor for equipment design.
