Description

John Zink is looking to hire a Designer to learn, grow, and apply their knowledge to transform the business in Tulsa, OK. The Designer will utilize 2D and 3D CAD software to generate models and drawings on a variety of combustion equipment, as well as align with our shared value system to manage challenging situations. This position requires a strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple projects and constantly review competing priorities. They will work closely with project teams across multi-functional support groups and communicate clearly across all teams throughout the project scope to solve problems and troubleshoot accordingly. 

What You Will Do In Your Role

• Assist Sr. Designer / Lead with modeling and drawings on a project.
• Managing project drawings in a data management software
• Communicate with engineering and manufacturing to resolve design and fabrication problems
• Collaborate with team members to create/update drawing standards to better improve accuracy, standardization, and throughput
• Work proactively with supply chain and manufacturing teams to apply Design for Manufacturability methodology

The Experience You Will Bring

Requirements:

• Previous experience in both 2D and 3D CAD software
• Proficient in Microsoft Office programs Outlook, Word, and Excel

What Will Put You Ahead

• 2+ years’ design/drafting experience in equipment design.
• 2+ years' experience Inventor, ProEngineer, or Solidworks.
• Advanced training or experience in Inventor for equipment design.
