We currently are seeking a Production Supervisor for our Irapuato site. The Supervisor of the area is responsible for managing the necessary resources so that during his shift the Safety, Production, Quality and Training activities of his operational people are fulfilled. The Supervisor is responsible for monitoring and assigning priorities to the floor based on the production plan.
What You Will Do In Your Role
- Lead and develop team members to improve individual and organization performance
- Identifying the comparative advantages of his team and thus stratifying his work plan, seeking an understanding of the processes and standards of his team for a correct classification of parts, capable of understanding his KPi'S and acting preventively, analyzing trends and building to continuous improvement.
- Leverage technical, mechanical, process-oriented aptitudes to learn a manufacturing process
- Set standards, measures, and improve processes
- Implement change: Motivate employees to embrace and adapt to changes
- Lead, track, and improve performance on key department goals and objectives
- Lead performance management, coaching and corrective action processes for assigned crew
- Improve plant performance through process improvements and lean manufacturing techniques, where it adds value
- Collaborate and coordinate with other departments to optimize production requirements (e.g., Sales, Scheduling, Warehouse, Shipping, etc.)
- Own and execute upstream and downstream processes to exceed customer expectations
The Experience You Will Bring
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree, Engineering or related field
- Previous experience on similar role
- Previous experience leading a team in a manufacturing environment
- English Intermediate Level
What Will Put You Ahead
- Previous experience with decorative chrome manufacturing systems and processes, assembly
