We are currently looking for candidates for the position of:

Float Process Manager

Work Center: Częstochowa

The person who joins our organization will be responsible for:

Successful Float process manager will be responsible for managing float glass process to ensure good quality product following customers’ needs. Leading improvements initiative as well required continuous improvement approach in assigned team and areas. He/She will be Supervisor of a float glass production process team. He/She will cooperate with production staff and management of different levels also with engineering department and company global and regional Capabilities.

For this position it is prefer to have knowledge and understanding of the float glass process. Float Process Manager will manage in different hot jobs as audits, heat-up, start-up. Required managing and leading skills.

What You Will Do In Your Role

• Ensure proper operation of the flat glass production line
• Improving the production process using modern methods and tools and maintain quality control objectives
• Create production documentation, specifications and standards
• Act consistently with company culture (our PBM Guiding Principles)
• Implementing solutions that optimize and increase the efficiency of technological processes
• Cooperation with manufacturing, sales and quality department
• Reporting KPI’s from belongs areas
• Participation in global and local projects
• Deputy of Production Manager

The Experience You Will Bring

Requirements:

• High technical education, Glass technology or related field preferred.
• Preferred: Knowledge of glass technology
• Preferred: experience as technologist /process engineer (preferred: Float Glass Experience)
• Fluent in English, both written and spoken
• Knowledge of production processes
• Strong data analysis skills
• Knowledge of modern tools and methods of production management and quality
• High degree of safety awareness and understanding of safety rules, compliance and regulations
• Very good knowledge of MS Office
• Production goals awareness
• Reacting on emergency situations
• Staff training skills

Ability to:

• Communicate effectively (verbal & written) within the department, plant and regional organizations
• Travel International when needed (shorter or longer)
