Our Molex Fiberguide facility in Caldwell, Idaho, is seeking qualified candidates for our Data Scientist position.

What You Will Do In Your Role

  • Analyze data from the production line relating to trends, operators, equipment, test results, overall line performance, etc.
  • Update and upkeep programs and systems used in production
  • Create new programs as needed to gather data
  • Create databases to store and maintain data
  • Improve/setup data gathering systems on the production line to be more efficient
  • Create backup of information
  • Generate data reports and trends for customers and internal teams to review
  • Program and compile data programs or solutions to production related information
  • Communicate with Engineering, Production, Quality, etc to ensure all requirements are met

    The Experience You Will Bring

    Requirements:

    • Experience with SQL, Python, Excel Macros, Jupyter Notebooks, Pandas, OR PowerBI
    • 4-year degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent, in a related field

      • Experience in a production environment
