Technical Sales Engineer - Pre Sales
Description
We are currently recruiting a Technical Sales Engineer to join our ETA Process Plant Division, focusing on turnkey process plant package supply.
The role will be based out of the office in Stoke-on-Trent and it would be advantageous to be able to work from the office full time.
What You Will Do In Your Role
- Supporting Technically and Commercially the complete sales process, working closely with all departments within the business.
- Review and understand client specifications in order to develop a technically compliant and cost effective solutions.
- Ability to understand develop technical drawings and documents alongside the Process and CAD departments, including but not limited to: P&ID’s, PFD’s, General Arrangement Drawings.
- Completing technical discussions directly with the client and sub contractors.
- Preparation of cost build ups and quotations with the help of the engineering team and commercial leader.
- Maintain and record accurate customer and opportunity information in the CRM system (Salesforce).
The Experience You Will Bring
Requirements:
- Technically-minded, having a degree with an engineering background, however, demonstrable experience will also be considered.
- Excellent communication skills, as well as competent with English grammar.
- Highly computer-literate.
- Some travel (approx. 10%) may be required (globally) to visit clients and other KES offices.
What Will Put You Ahead
- Customer Relationship Management tool (CRM) experience will be advantageous.
- Knowledge and experience of process plant within the Oil and Gas sector would be a valuable asset.
- Full UK Driving License will be preferred.
