Technical Sales Engineer - Pre Sales

We are currently recruiting a Technical Sales Engineer to join our ETA Process Plant Division, focusing on turnkey process plant package supply.

The role will be based out of the office in Stoke-on-Trent and it would be advantageous to be able to work from the office full time.

What You Will Do In Your Role

  • Supporting Technically and Commercially the complete sales process, working closely with all departments within the business.
  • Review and understand client specifications in order to develop a technically compliant and cost effective solutions.
  • Ability to understand develop technical drawings and documents alongside the Process and CAD departments, including but not limited to: P&ID’s, PFD’s, General Arrangement Drawings.
  • Completing technical discussions directly with the client and sub contractors.
  • Preparation of cost build ups and quotations with the help of the engineering team and commercial leader.
  • Maintain and record accurate customer and opportunity information in the CRM system (Salesforce).

    The Experience You Will Bring

    Requirements:

    • Technically-minded, having a degree with an engineering background, however, demonstrable experience will also be considered.
    • Excellent communication skills, as well as competent with English grammar.
    • Highly computer-literate.
    • Some travel (approx. 10%) may be required (globally) to visit clients and other KES offices.

    What Will Put You Ahead

    • Customer Relationship Management tool (CRM) experience will be advantageous.
    • Knowledge and experience of process plant within the Oil and Gas sector would be a valuable asset.
    • Full UK Driving License will be preferred.
