Flint Hills Resources Pine Bend is now hiring a Machinery Reliability Supervisor to join the team at the Rosemount, MN refinery! Machinery Asset Management is looking for a skilled professional with a strong passion to develop their leadership capabilities and to advance the FHR vision through various machinery venues. The Machinery Asset Management business is responsible for the short-term diagnosing and scoping of tactical machinery issues as well as long-term machinery reliability strategy improvements. Machinery Asset Management also consists of a work-execution pillar that focuses on precision maintenance for both General Purpose and Special Purpose (SPRE) rotating equipment overhauls. This Machinery Reliability Supervisor will be responsible for driving sustained improvement in their assigned machinery businesses while developing their team members both technically and professionally.

What You Will Do In Your Role
- Lead and supervise a group of machinery professionals
- Work with other asset management leaders on team member priorities and sequencing
- Assess and develop teams’ technical and professional talent by encouraging, promoting, and expecting continuous technical development and self-actualization
- Align with other refinery business and capability leaders on priorities to promote mutually beneficial relationships
- Steward a strong challenge culture leading to better business/organizational results
- Learn, support and lead the Machinery Special Purpose (SPRE) overhaul business
- Understand barriers to progress while holding team members accountable to milestones and deliverables
- Drive sustained improvement in assigned machinery businesses while proactively seeking challenge and alignment with stakeholders
The Experience You Will Bring
Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree or higher in Mechanical Engineering or related field
Previous leadership/supervisor experience leading an effective team
What Will Put You Ahead
- Experience with completing economic analysis
- Failure modes, cause and effect analysis (FMCA/RCA) training and experience
- Preventative/Predictive Maintenance (PM/PdM) application training and experience
- Familiar with API standards for Rotating Machinery
- Experience with the turnaround outage planning and execution
- Previous equipment reliability strategy experience
