i360 is seeking R Developer to join its analytics team, which is driven by data and measurement. The ideal candidate is an seasoned R user with experience building and automating ETL and other data pipelines. Core responsibilities will revolve around automating survey research pipelines and processes including SQL to R connections, statistical weighting schemes, and basic API creation.

This position is located in Arlington, VA.

What You Will Do In Your Role

  • Translate static R code into abstracted / automated workflows and scheduled jobs

  • Automate survey research tasks, including ETL, statistical weighting, anomaly detection, and time series analysis

  • Build basic APIs to facilitate data exchange between company servers and third-party software

  • Collaborate with colleagues to identify process improvement opportunities

  • Build internal R Shiny applications to automate repetitive functions and increase team efficiency

The Experience You Will Bring

Requirements:

  • Experience using R to automate internal workflows and ETL processes (intermediate to advanced R skills)

  • Intermediate SQL knowledge

What Will Put You Ahead

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher
  • Experience using AWS Batch, Elastic Container Registry, EventBridge, Lambda, etc. to automate scheduled and repeat tasks

  • Experience building / experimenting with R Shiny applications

  • Work experience in survey research / market research fields
