We are seeking a home-based Account Manager. An Account Manager creates value by developing strong relationships with suppliers & customers while using supply chain & marketing optimization to help drive business results. They partner with key business team members across sales, supply chain, & operations to directly impact business results. This is a remote role open to locations in the Eastern and Central time zones.

What You Will Do In Your Role

  • Owning the P&L results of your GP Recycling portfolio, including pricing negotiations with suppliers and customers
  • Build long-term relationships with suppliers and customers to develop growth opportunities
  • Optimizing multiple supply points with optimal demand locations and transportation options
  • Provide excellent customer focus to drive client satisfaction
  • Continually seeking process improvements/efficiencies including cost reduction and service management
  • Building relationships with internal and external customers to maintain continuity of flow, while challenging the status quo
  • Demonstrate a strong ability to work with and through others to achieve success
  • Utilize economic and critical thinking skills in application to the sales process

The Experience You Will Bring

Requirements:

  • 1 year or more of account management, supply-chain or procurement experience
  • Experience in Microsoft Office Software (Excel – sorting and manipulating data), Outlook – scheduling, Word – document creation/editing and PowerPoint – presentation creation/editing)
  • Willing and able to travel up to 20% of the time

What Will Put You Ahead

  • Bachelor’s Degree (or higher)
  • Experience with domestic logistics such as rail, truck and/or warehousing processes
  • Experience with Power BI
  • Two (2) years or more of account management experience

For this role, we anticipate paying $70,000- $100,000per year. This role is eligible for variable pay, issued as a monetary bonus or in another form.
