We are looking for a Controls Technician to join our team in Newbern, TN!! This role is a 3rd Shift position.
The Controls Technician will design, develop, install, and manage equipment used to control and monitor machinery and processes to ensure production standards are met while maintaining a customer focus and creating value through continual improvement in product and process.
What You Will Do In Your Role
- Troubleshooting automation equipment
- Manage the design and installation of electrical equipment including PLC’s, HMI’s, variable speed drives, and other instruments
- Maintain, troubleshoot, and implement programming adjustments to all PLC, HMI, and SCADA programs along with variable frequency drives, vision systems, and other automated equipment
- Develop and implement unique automated solutions to benefit production and improve cycle time
- Reduce downtime by identifying and correcting ongoing issues and preventing quality alerts
The Experience You Will Bring
Requirements:
- Experience in PLC programming
- Experience trouble-shooting and driving process improvements in an manufacturing setting
- Experience with Microsoft Office Products
What Will Put You Ahead:
Requirements:
- Experience in Industrial Maintenance or technical degree in a related field
- Experience with Injection Molding or Painting on Plastics
