Software Developer
Description
The Software Developer will be a part of an international team that designs, develops and delivers new applications for Koch Industries. Koch Industries is a privately held global organization with over 120,000 employees around the world, with subsidiaries involved in manufacturing, trading, and investments. Koch Technology Center (KTC) is being developed in India to extend its IT operations, as well as act as a hub for innovation in the IT function.
As a Software Developer, you will analyze business systems and identify key requirements to create customized components as well as design, develop and test customized components accurately and efficiently for business applications. We will look to you to demonstrate a rational and organized approach to completing project tasks, documentation, and status updates and to execute work plans by accepting personal accountability for project deliverables and developing short-term work schedules and priorities for individual tasks.
A Day in The Life Could Include:

- · Working in an Agile team using either SCRUM or Kanban methodologies
- · Collaborate proactively with internal support teams, vendors, and customers for enhancements and break/fix support
- · Migrate existing applications to the Cloud while also engineering applications for Cloud scalability
- · Develop modern device agnostic user interfaces
- · Actively participate in code reviews and design discussions
- · Refining our technology vision, roadmap, and strategies with your colleagues
- Learning about new applications, features, and APIs that can be used for new solution; Leveraging them to efficiently solve business problems
What You Will Need to Bring with You:
(experience & education required)
- · 4-5 years of .NET development (C#, MVC, ASP.NET, etc.)
- · 2+ years of .Net Core development experience
- · 2+ years javascript, jQuery experience (more than just control basic control validation)
- · Working experience in React development.
- · 3+ years of complex enterprise applications development experience
- · Good knowledge of any SQL Database, working with complex queries and stored procedures
- · 3+ years of experience with Rest APIs development
- · Understanding and working experience of implementing authentication and authorization in applications with Oauth 2.0 , OpenIdConnect or SAML
What Will Put You Ahead:
(experience & education preferred)
- Experience with Kendo or similar 3rd party controls
- Postgres experience
- Experience with using GIT for source control
- Experience with using Azure DevOps
- Experience with CI/CD and IaaS tools (Terraform, Gitlab, Azure DevOps, Octopus)
- Certified Amazon Web Service developer
