For our production site near Bitterfeld-Wolfen we are now looking for a

IT and OT Systems Adminstrator (m/f/d) glass production

full-time at our Thalheim, Germany plant.

Your tasks:

• Traditional IT systems knowledge, mostly Process Network oriented (wired and wireless networks, infrastructure security, plant operational devices - printers, scanners, tablets etc., anti-virus and patching)
• Cybersecurity - compliance with safety rules according to company standards, educating employees about hazards
• Interface between the different teams such as engineering and global IT/OT teams
• Propose new solutions based on the local experience, for future improvements
• Testing, monitoring, and troubleshooting abilities
• Building sustainable relationships with local vendors
• Physical assistance for preventive and reactive maintenance related to IT/OT Hardware
• Be able to take appropriate measures in case of failures, for preventive/predictive maintenance windows and for planned technology changes

Your experience:

• Bachelor’s Degree in IT or equivalent work experience
• First professional experience in the administration of a network infrastructure (wired and wireless network, windows patching/updates, infrastructure security, anti-virus)
• Working knowledge of current network communications devices and protocols as well as server and desktop technologies (esp. Windows Server)
• Ability to manage multiple projects, activities, and tasks simultaneously.
• Previous work experience following change management procedures and maintaining a highly available infrastructure
• Service-mindset
• Minimum of intermediate level of German and English
• Working knowledge of Cisco and VMware is very nice to have
• Willingness to travel for business (10-20%)/ willingness to provide out of office hours support in emergencies

What Will Put You Ahead:

• Desirable basic knowledge of ICS elements (industrial control systems)
• Knowledge of production support systems Scada, HMI, data collectors, Historian
• Industrial communication protocols, OPC, profinet, modbus
• PLCs
