Georgia-Pacific is seeking an Administrative Assistant for our Fort Dodge, IA facility. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented and has a desire for excellence. This role also brings opportunities to manage and develop new processes. If you are a driven individual who loves to create value, we’d like to learn more about you!

What You Will Do In Your Role

  • Lead all office coordination of activities (e.g., coordinate meals and events, order supplies, and coordinate vendor activity, etc.)
  • Support inventory audits for production (e.g., end of month inventory counts, invoice tracking with vendors, etc.)
  • Daily production data entry and reconciliation 
  • Process purchasing transactions

The Experience You Will Bring

Requirements:

  • One (1) or more years’ experience working with Microsoft Office Software (Excel, Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, etc)
  • Ability to work some overtime and weekends

What Will Put You Ahead

  • One (1) or more years’ experience working in an administrative support role
  • Associate degree or higher
  • Experience working in a manufacturing or industrial environment
  • Demonstrate effective verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
  • Ability to adapt to and quickly learn new systems
  • Demonstrate problem-solving, organizational, and decision-making skills
