The Senior Business Systems Analyst role within Koch offers a great opportunity to be part of different capabilities within HR Technology, including the potential to work on global and regional projects, problems, MADIs (Mergers, Acquisitions, Divestures, and Integrations) and/or system enhancements in a complex environment. The Senior Business Systems Analyst is a functional role within the HR Technology organization focusing on the talent acquisition platform. This person will partner with various teams within IT and HR Solutions to investigate, analyze, review, document functional business requirements, configure, and be to test and sign off on changes.

What You Will Do In Your Role

  • Global Owner on the various requests to completion, sits in all planning and design sessions and responsible to pulling in the regional HRIS leads as needed
  • Responsible for understanding the global, regional, and local requirements/processes/systems impacted such as GHR, Payroll, Benefits, and/or technology that utilizes HR data
  • Responsible for partnering with the Enterprise Process Lead (EPL), Enterprise Team Lead (ETL), and/or customers to collect input and to drive process standardization across the enterprise
  • Engage and build strong relationships across the organization, customers, and partners within HRIT (Technical team) to develop solutions that will enhance and enrich those who consume our services
  • Responsible for working to define overall strategy for regional and local testing scripts, execution of testing, and regional sign-off to release to production
  • Responsible for solving, stabilization, and documentation of complex cases as it relates to Global/Enterprise HR technology, this could include break/fix, root cause, and system gaps
  • Contribution motivated to share and gain knowledge, to present and execute well designed experiments and to look at ways to improve processes or system
  • Ability to clearly articulate, document, and communicate requirements or provide recommendation on solution so a decision can be made
  • Ability to be a quick learner and quickly apply learnings to contribute. Self-motivated and wants to dig into items to seek to understand
  • Ability to work effectively with others to achieve common goals and respond positively to situations and feedback

Requirements:

  • Leading initiatives from inception to post go live, including documenting requirements and changes to all necessary parties
  • Ability to work in a fast pace environment where people thrive with jumping into various situations to contribute
  • Ability to be flexible to attend meetings outside core hours due to team members in Asia and Europe
  • Experience with ambiguous problems, critical thinking for troubleshooting and thinking creatively to solve problems
  • Ability to travel 15%, if necessary, based on certain assignment

What Will Put You Ahead

  • Experience with supporting talent acquisition platforms such as Brassring, Infor TA, Taleo, and Avature
  • Experience leading system implementations or system upgrades
  • Background in system development or configuration
